The technology in education (EdTech) market began its inception in the 2000s, going from simple learning management systems to complex digital platforms using artificial intelligence technologies. Until 2018, distance technologies in teaching people were perceived as something additional to the usual offline formats. Many experts spoke out against online, referring to its low efficiency in the learning process.
However, a whole series of successive "black swans" that caused a sharp transition of all spheres of human life to online, no one has left any doubt that remote technologies are firmly entrenched in our daily lives. The global geopolitical realignment, border closures, tech company exits, IT talent exodus, falling revenues and a host of other factors are impacting the EDTech market strongly.
In the next 3 years, the landscape of the market will inevitably change. Companies are looking for new opportunities, optimizing costs, launching new products, learning partnerships both inside and outside the industry.
Who will be able to survive in a changed world, how the portrait of a student has changed, what people and organizations need to do in this era of change, and what skills will be in demand - these and other questions will be answered by the participants of the discussion.

93% of primary school students have a smartphone, and a quarter of them spend most of their free time on gadgets. The Internet for the “digital born” generation is an integral part of the reality in which they communicate, socialize, develop and have fun. However, along with opportunities, the digital world is fraught with a large number of threats, especially dangerous for the emerging personality of the child. As part of the activities of the Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment, Rostelecom studied the existing risks and technologies for protecting underage users. What threats have come under special attention, what risks have been underestimated, in what areas cyber threats for children will be formed in the near future, and how to make the Internet environment truly favorable for the younger generation - these issues will be discussed by the session participants.
